Due to the success of the previous Old Boys* events you'll be pleased to know were planning another one this year for you to test your skills against the current crop of tax-dodgers and generally get everyone back together to reminisce about days gone by.

There are a few things that need sorting out before this can happen, firstly the date. The plan as is stands is to have the event on the Sunday following Rick's wedding (June 17th) as I know people are already travelling up to York for this and it would save on transport. Please let me know if you can or can't make this, just so I know you've all received this e-mail. I expect our current members will be able to provide some sofa accommodation so make a note of your requirements in the replies.

The second point is where to hold the race! One option which seems somehow fitting is Simon Smith's new outfit up at Tockwith. It's laid out on one of the other runways and is great fun if not quite the serious racetrack that is the Langbauring. Other good options are the aforementioned Langbaurgh, or Hull which has become our smaller outdoor track of choice, due to the quality of the racing and general helpfulness of the staff.
